I love the Palestrina "Alma Redemptoris Mater." I had the privilege of singing this work under the direction of the late Roger Wagner, who interpreted the work rather than conducting it metronomically, which seems to be the fashion today. This motet is a masterpiece that's not beyond the capability of average-to-above-average choirs.

I kind of remember it well. Kathleen did such a great job. She has tapes for those of us who had a hard time learning that particular piece as well as the gathering song of All Creatures. It was a memorable experience. But we did it!
