What a Day!!

Too much sadness in my life at the moment.

Entered the church this morning to discover that the tabernacle had been vandalized.

Fr - you are in my prayers. It's hard to imagine what it must be like for a priest to discover such desecration. What sort of person perpetrates such sacrilege. In Domino Nostro.

St. Michael and the angels protect us!

May God have mercy on the perpetrators.

May the Lord bless you and your parish.

I can honestly say I feel you. There had been several times when my father and I would go and lock the church (The Cathedral) up and would find all kinds of things that were either torn, broken or defecated upon. Then there was the fire which started behind the statute of St. Joseph that nearly burn the whole Cathedral down. I will pray for you and the community as well as those who vandalized. Hang in there.

A painful time for you indeed: a suicide and a church desecration, all in a few days time. Maybe it's all related. We'll keep you in our prayers: the list keeps getting longer.

we went through this at St. Barnabas this year, so our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry.
You and your parish are in my prayers, as is the soul who did this.

My prayers for you, your parish and especially the person(s) who did this. May God bring them to acceptance of his forgiveness.

A personal dark [week] of the soul? You and the parish are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to see and hear of this. My prayers are with you, your parish, and of course for the person who did this that they may acknowledge this sin in their own hearts and receive and accept forgiveness for this as well. As for recent suicide, I pray for his soul and know he is with God who has mercy for all of us.
I was also sad to hear St. Barnabus has experienced the same desecration as this parish will always hold a special place in my heart.

My prayers are with you,

your sister

OMG! Just saw the news and someone has stolen the tabernacle from St. Isidore's Parish in Danville! Why on earth?

Dear Father,
I am so sorry. I will make an act of reparation and pray for you and your parish and the vandals.

Peace,
Adria
