First Friday at St. Edward

This is what we use to have for First Friday at St. Edward:

I had wanted to do more but our tabernacle was inadequate. The cost of a new tabernacle was prohibitive.

But we have some marvelous wood-workers in the parish. Thanks, Ken and Cruz. This is what we now have:

The new look is truly beautiful and has the Sacrament in full view of every participant.

That is so cool! The wood completely transforms a very dated tabernacle into an object of warmth and beauty, gives you a place for the monstrance, and when combined with the candles, it takes St. Edward's up another notch.

That is quite splendid.
We are fortunate to have a gorgeous tabernacle, really befitting its privileged purpose, and several stunning monstrances. Unfortunately we use some sort of oil filled "candles" which inevitably run out (an altar full of foolish virgins!) by the end of the day of Exposition.
