Father: Searched your site for mass times at St. Edwards - can't find it. I'd love to attend mass at St. Edwards when the choir sings. I attend mass in San Leandro and I don't care for the music at Assumption or St. Leander...the best, I think, is at St. Alphonsus.
What a wonderful edition. The Mission House has a rich history, and it is good to see it live on in so many parts of the world. Here in California, we enjoyed the benefits of a Mission House in Berkeley for some time and also at St. Barnabas which will be remembered for its hospitality, prayer and formation efforts. It was good to see Father John Klopke's (RIP) fine scholarship featured. We knew him best as a quiet effective parish priest - a very good homilist. It was easy to overlook the fact that the homilies were so substantive because of his keen intelligence and devotion to study, especially to study focused on St. Gaspar. I appreciated Fr. Jerry Stack's article also. He is missed here in California. And finally the stories of the houses in Europe and South America were especially good. I really liked reading about the two Polish houses.
