Mission Opens

at St. John the Baptist, Whiting Indiana. It was a wonderful night. The Parish Mission team is exceptional. Geri, an occasional commenter on this blog, is a wonderful music director. The Choir this morning was stunningly beautiful.

Prayers for the mission would be appreciated. Even with unrelenting rain we had a good crowd.

Y'all come to night two, Monday at 7:00pm

Okay, Fr. Keyes, maybe I lied, maybe I AM rich, and will leave you money in my will for saying nice things about me in public.

The sermon tonight. Wow.

But if you wanted someone to know the meaning of "dulce" you should have asked at the childrens' liturgy of the word -- half my junior choir was in there, and THEY know.

(I know, this isn't really a fast from talking, if I'm talking with my fingers....)
