The cards you brought to the mission were strikingly beautiful.
I have a few cards, mostly prayer cards from relatives' funerals, but I particularly prize one I found in an "antiques' (really, junk...) store a few years back -- "St Clare, patron saint of Television." How could anyone of my generation NOT feel a special devotion to her?
p.s. Thanks for the vote of confidence in that email you sent -- Joanne gave me a copy. Very, very kind of you. I am trying my best.
What a neat story. Good to know that my 'collection' is small when compared to others. I haven't really counted them but probably have a hundred or so. One of my prizes is a St. Emerenciana that I found in a religious supply store in Madrid. Emerenciana was my mother's given name although she was always called "Mary" by her family and friends.
