A Blessed Advent to all! This is my favorite season of readings, prayers and songs. I hope you all take advantage of the Advent reflections posted to the right. Many thanks to RC for making the link. The reflections were composed by many sisters and priests in the Precious Blood Community. You will find mine on the Tuesdays of Advent.
Blessed Advent

Fr. Jeff,
We have our advent wreath on our dining room table. Its design is of wheat and grapes. So, thank you for the Advent writings. We will use them as our candle lighting prayers.
In your writing today, you certainly struck a chord with me: St Gaspar reminds us, “If God is calling you… do not resist the divine call” (Letter 1147 to Fr. Crescenzio Antenagelo, June 9, 1825).
This reflects the passage from Paul's letter to the Romans which is so meaningful to me: Rom. 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.
