The New Music Director was the organist at the 10:00am. One parishioner offered this viewpoint: "It sounded more like a church and less like a cocktail lounge."
On the most part, an excellent list. Did Sam pick these, or did you? Either way, with the exception of "Supper of the Lord", it's great.
Ave Verum --- Mozart's?

I selected most of the music with Sam chiming in on the selection of the Kyrie.
I should have mentioned that the congregation sang better today than they had in months. The difference between the 8:00pm mass last week and this week was phenomenal.
You must be hearing voices in your head. The difference was not phenomenal. If it was so great a difference you would have remembered to post it the first time.
Well, best of luck to you Father, and to Sam. Personally, I like your taste in music. Don't let these anonymous trolls get to you. You'll always get a few ticked off left wingers out there. Unfortunately, they can be a bit more vocal than those who prefer to worship according to the Roman mandates (like you and me).
+ In Christ,

Thanks Brian. The anonymous troll has been consistent and the IP addresses left reveal it is only one person. I have my hunch it may be the former director or even one of the dissatisfied choir members. I heard from a parishioner that the choir was unhappy that I asked the assembly to stop clapping at the end of every mass. Of course that parishioner was very happy that I finally asked that the ritual applause be stopped.
