Perhaps as a response to today's crazyness, I decided how I would spend part of my summer vacation. I signed up....
A moment of peace...

Sigh.... was the previous entry in this blog.
Day Nine is the next entry in this blog.

Make sure you share what you learn. I'm going to the NPM Pastoral Liturgy Institute in Houston this year - and think you'll have a lot more fun.
hi, Father Jeff,
I'm glad you're going to pursue some of your favorite music for part of your summer R & R.
It looks to me like much more listening to talks and much less singing than the Institutes at Rennselaer.
It just makes me sad to see the catch-phrase about "restoration of the sacred." Surely there's a lot more sacred music than Gregorian chant!
Well, color me jealous of you BOTH.
(AGO is right in CHICAGO, for the love of mike, and I can't even afford to go to that.)
Seriously, I was thinking maybe next year I could swing the CMAA colloquium.
You'll have to tell us all about it, looking forward to the reports!
Oh golly! How did I miss this post?!?!! Tori expressed it very well yesterday... a long, slow, drawn out, rumbling, deep-seated (Gregorian) GROAN!
