God of goodness,
you chose Gaspar del Bufalo
to be a prophet to the nations,
a preacher of the good news of salvation,
and an apostle of the Precious Blood.
By his intercession
grant that we may experience
the abundant graces
which flow from the Lamb who was slain.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever.

Fr. Dennis Chriszt, CPPS originally submitted the prayer above as a possible opening prayer for the Solemnity of St. Gaspar.New Mass texts were later submitted to the Vatican for approval. They are currently only available in Latin and Italian, though the English text has been submitted and is awaiting approval.

Thank you Fr. and a Happy Feast Day to you too!

God Bless & thank you for all you do to teach and assist us in our growth of LOVE for HIM and HIS MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD!
YEA GOD!

Happy Feast Day!
I was pretty pleased with our programming, Kent's It is a Good Thing to Give Thanks to the Lord seemed a good fit for the proper entrance antiphon, I found a Slovak Hymn to the Precious Blood in the files that I arranged with some fanfares for the postlude, and we learned a lovely new (to us,) setting of our patron, St Francis Xavier's prayer, O Deus Ego Amo Te.
And some PIPs actually noticed and commented that "Go To The World" "went with" the readings :-)
And though our hymnal did not have one, (and the missallette of course had none of the readings for the day,) we sang a solid setting of the psalm actually assigned to St Gaspar's feast day, which made me very glad.
Fr Gary outdid himself preaching on the mural arching above our sanctuary that depicts the history of the CPPS.
God bless you, Fr Keyes!
